This work is the result of research comparing the film screen with the screen that the artwork upholds. Both are two-dimensional planes that offer a glimpse into a suggested larger world beyond the borders of the frame.
Furthermore, it depicts an unsettling encounter of two characters from David Lynch’s Wild At Heart (1990). Exploring power dynamics between man and woman, the bodily language of the characters became of great importance to the drawing, as did the space that surrounds them towards creating an ominous atmosphere.
