At cult cinema and former pathologic anatomic laboratory Lab111, three new installations of living rooms inspired by the film- and theatre set were presented alongside a selection of drawings. Where does our reality end and where does the realm of film begin?

During the residency 6 artists, all of whom have recently completed their Masters of Fine Art (Drawing and Sculpture) in the UK, react, create and draw to the material ‘graphite’ and the factory at Viarco: its basic earthly elements, how it is made into art materials and the people who do that – from factory worker to artists.
St. John on Bethnal Green, London / 4 – 14 July 2019
‘Out of Darkness’ was a group exhibition of recent work by former MA Drawing students at Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL. Using and responding to the nature of the spaces of the Crypt gallery and St. John on Bethnal Green, the exhibition offers multiple immersions into contrasting interpretations and realisations of darkness.
De Volmolen, Amersfoort / 2- 23 March 2019
An overview of works presented at the 17th-century monument and cultural hotspot De Volmolen in Amersfoort. The exhibition showcased a number of new works including a series of hypothetical movie posters and a six minute film compiled from fragments of 1930-60 horror movies and film noirs.
