/ Binge-watch

‘Binge-watch’ is an installation that reflects upon the act of watching television. As part of a generation that binge-watches television series, I’m fascinated by the screens we look at all day and the fictional worlds they offer access into. I aimed to show the restlessness of these often fast-paced, superficial images, while simultaneously censoring them of their content. This resulted in an obscured tempest of movement, colours and shapes of which the viewer is an observer from the outside; trying to look into a room where someone is watching television.
